The Level 2 Ceramics student will be focusing on how an artist tells a story through their artwork by researching various artists and new techniques such as underglazing, dry brush acrylic, and throwing on the potters wheel. Students are required to back up their reasoning and techniques through artist statements and research. Students will learn how to mix their own glaze at the end of the school year.

Summer Homework
Students are required to turn in 1 image of ceramic artwork that uses UNDERGLAZES as surface decoration on the first day of school. The artist name, title of piece, and year of piece must accompany each image.
